Stunning vintage 1950s black wiggle dress. Boat neck, gorgeous pleats in the skirt and a matching belt. Metal zipper up the back. Unlined. I'd say medium size. Label reads: Carlye. Looks and feels like a blend, maybe a lightweight wool or rayon.

Excellent vintage condition. There is a streak of color fade along the shoulders and down the sides, and some random faded areas as well.

Measurements when lying flat puleld taut. Doubled at bust, waist and hip
Armpit to armpit across bust: 40" at rest to about 49" fuly stretched
Waist: 26"
Belt: 25.5" to 27"
Hips: 38" to 49"
Shoulder to waist: approx 15.5"
Shoulder to bottom hem: 41"
